A number of animal-advocacy organizations have recently been misled by the Humane $ociety of the United $tate$ into supporting legislation written by the H$U$ partner – United Egg Producers – that ensured growth and profitability for the chicken-massacring egg industry, while condemning chickens to ghastly permanent and irreversible confinement, mutilation, torture, and murder – previously opposed by H$U$ and other groups on their websites. This depraved conspiracy between the egg industry and H$U$ to betray millions and billions of birds should never have been joined by any animal-advocacy groups – but it was. H$U$ seemed to command a legion of blind and brainwashed followers.
But now – perhaps this well-considered reversal by IDA will spark a trend toward rejecting and ejecting H$U$ from the “animal rights movement”, and recognizing the Humane $ociety of the United $tate$ for what it really is – anti-vegan animal killers, butchers, breeders, vivisectors, hypocrites, deceivers. How did it get into the “animal rights movement” in the first place, much less lead it and then mislead it?
Whatever demonic possession that it was to lead animal-advocacy organizations to support the “Rotten Egg Bill” upon its first introduction is now history. But, it’s back.

Please politely ask the following organizations to reconsider and withdraw their support, and to actively oppose the irreversible harm to which harmless chickens will be sentenced by the H$U$ / egg industry legislation:
