"Go Vegan With Bob Linden"

What: Broadcast veteran Bob Linden offers commentary on such issues as animal rights, vegetarianism, the environment and world hunger with guests and listener calls.

Where: KRLA-AM (870).

When: 11 a.m. to noon Sundays.

Quote: "The purpose of the show is to convince people to stop eating, wearing and exploiting animals for experimentation and entertainment. It's a show about dietary and lifestyle choices."

Off the air: A Santa Clarita Valley resident, Linden spends his time preparing and marketing "Go Vegan," which is simulcast on San Francisco's KYCY-AM. He has been vegetarian for 30 years.

Background: Linden, who was born in New York, held radio jobs in Washington, D.C.; Miami; Seattle; New York; San Diego; and San Francisco. "Go Vegan" debuted on KRLA six months ago.

Taking a stand: "All my sponsors must be vegan and cruelty-free, meaning their products must have no animal ingredients or use animal testing."
