HEY BERNIE – Your platform choice, Bill McKibben, is totally detrimental to addressing climate change and needs to be reconsidered.
All the divestment in the world won’t save us – only a massive shift to veganism will. That’s what science tells us. Please listen. It’s not Exxon. It’s Ben & Jerry’s.
The carbon emitted from burning fossil fuels is 4 to 5 billion tonnes annually. Just the soil carbon emissions from land cultivated for animal agriculture are estimated to be 5 billion tonnes annually, without any other considerations, such as billions of tonnes more just from grazing land, and then everything else from transportation, to refrigeration, to packaging, etc. McKibben is a victim of his own addiction to consuming “animal products”. His organization is corrupted by rancher money. McKibben’s positions that INCREASING animal agriculture – not eliminating it – is a solution for climate change, and that people in developing countries should not be “deprived” of the “pleasure” of eating “meat”, make him a buffoon. McKibben has embraced as his guru, another buffoon – the discredited rancher, Allan Savory, whose admitted past “mistakes” include killing tens of thousands of elephants – just the kind of thing that qualifies him to save the world from climate change in the eyes of 350.org’s misleading opportunist founder. It is tragic that Bernie Sanders has selected Rockefeller-funded fibbin’ Bill McKibben as an adviser for the Democrat platform, and it is tragic that Democracy Now continues to ignore – or remain ignorant of – truths about climate change, while giving a clown a platform to masquerade as an expert. Amy Goodman has the responsibility to educate herself. We have the responsibility to educate Bernie. The production and consumption of “meat”, dairy, fish, and eggs are the #1 cause of climate change, and the ONLY SOLUTION before it’s too late is for us to GO VEGAN! …”BERNIE’S PEOPLE – YOU HAVE TO GO VEGAN!”
